How to Disable Motherboard Beep?

There is an internal speaker on the motherboard / main-board which is responsible for the beeps or the beeping noises and sounds which you have heard from you computer. It's not the sound of your external speaker. You can easily disable this beeps or beeping sounds or beeping noise. "How you can disable motherboard beeps?" -This page will tell you the process of disabling motherboard beeps or noises or sounds.

Steps to disabling motherboard beep

Motherboard beeps or beeping sound of motherboard, always warns a message. Sometimes, it's helpful but most of the time it's disgusting. So, many people like to disable these beeps or beeping noise. To disable these beeping noise, follow the following steps:

Step 1:

Right-click on My Computer and select Manage. The Computer Management Window will be appeared and select or click on the Device Manger.

Step 2:

Click on View and form the drop down menu, select show hidden devices.

Step 3:

When you finished the above steps, Non-Plug and Play Drivers will be visible in Device Manger.

Step 4:

Now, click on Non-Plug and Play Drivers and it will be expanded. Form the expanded items you will see Beep. Double-click on the Beep and Beep Properties window will be appeared.

Step 5:

On the "Beep Properties" window, click on Driver tab.

Step 6:

From the driver tab, you can disable the beeping device temporarly or permanmently. So, you have two options to disable motherboar bees or beeping noise. So, follow as your wish:

[a] Disable motherboard beeping temporarly:

  • Juar click on Stop button.

[b] Disable motherboard beeping permamently:

  • From the Startup part, selet Type as Disabled.

Step 7:

At last, after finishing the above steps, click on OK of Beep Properties window. Lastly, close Computer Management window.

By following the above mentioned steps you can easily disable or stop motherboard beeps or beeping sound.
