Steps to make a Print Screen on Unix or Linux
The command key for capturing the current desktop screen snapshot, is Print Screen-SysRq key which is located on the upper right corner on your keyboard just besides the Scroll Lock and Pause-Break key. If you use Print Screen + Alt keys all together and capture the section of the screen to which the mouse points to, then only that portion will be captured.
Follow the following steps to capture the current desktop screen or to take a screenshot of your desktop in your Unix or Linux machine:
- Firstly, from the Menubar select Applications from the list. Now Accessories and at last Take Screenshot option.
- Now, Save Screenshot dialog will be appeared. At last, choose which section of the screen you want to capture and save.
By following the above steps you can easily make a print screen on your desktop in Unix or Linux computer.
