System tray icon missing: How to fix system tray icons missing in Windows 7, Vista and XP?
When you boot your windows computer, many times you may see that some of the icons like volume control icon, network status icon etc. are not visible properly. So, you can't figure out volume control icon, network status icons etc. for frequent usage.
Why the icons are not visible or loaded properly?
The reason is quite funny. Actually when the Windows 7 or Windows Vista or Windows XP is booting, it tries to launch several process one by one simultaneously. All these process are running parallely and CPU process all things in tun. So, sometimes the CPU is very busy and during that time Windows wouldn't load one or several icons properly. So, you are not able to see one or some of the icons like volume control icon or network status icon etc.
