   It's more visual and allows us to highlight hubs that we choose to highlight.  Also, it is very user friendly and has a lot more information placed in such a way that people can access it easily.  I think this is one of the best upgrades HP has ever done, I am very pleased with it.

   It is obvious that it's user friendly, BUT...
   
   Will the new profile affect SEO?
   Will I have more visits?
   How this will affect AdSense?
   Will this affect loading of my page(because of the more graphics)?
   Will the big "GURUS" switch on it?

   One significant feature I like is the writing down the summary of the hubs; it sort of advertising what one prospective reader can expect in any given hub.

   I like how we can feature our hubs, and the background picture is a great visual asset to the profile. I think this profile looks a lot better than all the white space on the old one.  All in all, a more visual and attractive profile!

   I like it a lot, it's more personalized and does a great job of making your hubs stand out more. I like the social media buttons. We can connect easily on twitter, Facebook and pinterest. I like how it recommends people to follow, just like Facebook. It has more of a blog feel to it.

       Agreed! Now you apparently can't just Hop a hub without reading it and going on to something more interesting to read and comment on. You have to "grade" now I guess.

       Yes, I also thought that perhaps someone should be paying me my professional rate to give an editorial critique of every hub on the hopper!
       
       However, go and so what happens when you are on the hub hopper page and you just click the 'back' arrow.

    Apart from the fact that it is a deal more attractively laid out, I especially like that we can choose which hubs we particularly want to promote and that there is a highly visual but still text-based hub-listing.
    
    I think its good. I like it.

    I love the choices for backgrounds and the featured hubs. It looks so much better and easier for the readers to use.

    I like how the hub images are much larger, and this could attract people to examine more of our hubs. In addition it lists all our hubs, which is an advantage in helping readers discover what we have available.
    
    I also like the fact that HP implemented Google's authorship markup code in the new profile. This allows Hubbers  to have their image displayed in Google search results. 
    
    All you need to do is set up a Google profile in your Google account and add its URL to your HP profile, and then add a reciprocal link in your Google account back to your HP profile. This is a lot easier than it was before to claim Google authorship.
    
    For those who don't know about Google authorship, check out the various forums. There was a lot of discussion about this throughout the past year and I'm glad it is finally implemented in the new HP profile. You can use a regular Google account or sign up for Google Plus, which is Google's equivalent to Facebook. But a regular Google profile works too.
    
    I feel that this is the biggest advantage of the new HP profile.

    I like that it has everything all in one place-- a blurb about the author, where to find them online (social media, blogs, etc), and a list of their hubs. I also like that they added a list of suggested hubbers to follow that write about similar topics. It makes it easier to find writers that I might like.

    I really like the new profile page.  I especially like the ability to be a little bit expressive with graphic art in the background.  I also like the easy access to my other social media sites.

    One way I have found to spread the word about my HubPages is to list my profile URL on other sites I contribute to (and that have profile pages, too). Since the new profile is easier to get at and gives us more ability to emphasize what we want, this upgrade will help me and everybody a great deal.
    Of course, it's nice to know that all of these kinds of things are being continuously worked on behind the scenes. Change like this makes a writer feel comfortable. Many thanks to HB.

    I like it because it looks more professional. It is also much better distributed. I can scroll down and find all the articles I have written.
    
    In addition, all my articles are showing an image beside them. It has a more attractive presentation, and readers visiting my profile can be positively impacted by a nice looking profile.

    I like some of the backgrounds I have seen and the hub summaries and favorite hubs. I hope I can make mine look nice. What concerns me is the page-load time that someone mentioned  However, I will say that staff did a good job with a complex project.
